Deity SF1 Directional Shark Fin Antenna is a high-performance RF panel built for sound mixers and wireless operators who need cleaner reception, stronger links, and fewer surprises on set. Covering an ultra-wide 470–960 MHz spectrum, the SF1 adapts effortlessly to theatre, broadcast, ENG, festival stages, houses of worship, and large multi-frequency productions. Its directional pickup pattern and roughly 60° acceptance angle allow you to “aim” your reception toward talent while rejecting RF noise and interference coming from off-axis sources—an essential advantage in crowded spectrum environments.

The SF1 incorporates an active RF gain stage that can be precisely adjusted from −9 dB to +21 dB in 1 dB increments, letting you compensate for cable loss with accuracy instead of guesswork. A bright on-board readout makes gain control simple, and an overload indicator alerts you immediately if the front end is saturating, ensuring you maintain headroom rather than amplifying the entire RF neighbourhood. When powered via 12–16.8 V DC bias from a receiver or antenna distro, the SF1 runs in active mode; without power, it still delivers 6 dBi passive gain, giving you reliable performance even in simplified setups.

Built to survive real-world production, the SF1 features an all-metal housing, weather-resistant IP54 sealing, vented slotted panels that reduce wind resistance, and a wide operating range of −10°C to +55°C. Whether you’re working in rain, dust, sun, or a week-long load-in scenario, the SF1 remains stable and dependable. Its 50 Ω BNC connector integrates cleanly with professional RF distros and low-loss coax, and an OIP3 rating of 39 dBm preserves dynamic range when operating in dense RF environments.

Mounting is equally production-friendly: the SF1 uses a female ARRI-style anti-rotation 3/8″-16 mount with a locator pin, ensuring it stays locked in position when you pan or tilt the antenna for optimal line-of-sight coverage. The hinge assembly accepts both 3/8″ and 5/8″ mounting threads, accommodating stands, booms, and cart rigs without adapters.

Created to pair naturally with Deity’s THEOS ecosystem yet fully compatible with third-party wireless systems, the SF1 excels as a robust, flexible, and predictable directional solution for long cable runs and RF-dense environments where clean reception matters most.
